Account Manager:

1. Manages relationship with clients - everything from day-to-day information requests, to in-depth analysis, to contract renewal negotiations.

2. The Account Manager also understands the big picture in client's businesses, and proactively identified opportunities to apply proprietary research to key issues. The successful candidate has a background in research/market analysis, and is able to serve clients in a consultative fashion that helps them identify and address needs as they emerge in the evolving business environment.

3. The Account Manager is also tasked with deepening and broadening relationships with clients.

4. Reports directly to the I-Evolve's Operation Manager.

Virtual Assistant

1. A Virtual Assistant is one who can do administrative, technological or creative work for a company, even while being outside of the company, and reports and receives direct information from the company owner or CEO.

2. Often times, smaller businesses will use virtual assistants for an all in one source for taking care of the little things. This saves them the cost of opening a small office with just a front desk.

3. Larger businesses will also have virtual assistants to provide several duties but would prefer Account Managers to handle several accounts that they have.

4. However, when defining the role of a virtual assistant, it is easy to continue to ask them to do things, even if this isn’t in the job description. One thing to be aware of, either as one who is hiring a virtual assistant, or one who is working as a virtual assistant, is where the line is.

5. A virtual assistant is similar to having an executive assistant that attends to all your daily business needs, making sure you are aware of all your schedules and all your company’s business activities for the day.

6. A virtual assistant should be able to correspond to you your clients on your behalf both through email and calling.

7. Monitored by the I-Evolve’s Operations Manager.

The two major categories of telemarketing are Business-to-business and Business-to-consumer.

1. Lead Generation, the gathering of information.

  • This is when an agent is simply assigned to make a certain number of calls for the day looking for the keys person, the contact information of these key persons and encoding them into the data base of the client.

  • The client or company provides the database of leads.

 2. Appointment Setters: Setting of Sales appointments.

  • This is when an agent calls target clients and uses their sales ability to set an appointment with the prospect client and the company’s sales closer.

  • The client or the company provides the database of leads.

 3. Sales, using persuasion to sell a product or service

  • Outbound, proactive marketing in which prospective and preexisting customers are contacted directly. Database provided by client or company.

  • Inbound, reactive reception of incoming orders and requests for information. Demand is generally created by advertising, publicity, or the efforts of outside salespeople. Database provided by client or company.

Customer service representatives:

Serve as a direct point of contact for customers.
They are responsible for ensuring that their company’s customers receive an adequate level of service or help with their questions and concerns. These customers may be individual consumers or other companies, and their service needs can vary considerably.
All customer service representatives interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products or services and to handle and resolve complaints. They communicate with customers through a variety of means—by telephone; by e-mail, and fax.
Some customer service representatives handle general questions and complaints, whereas others specialize in a particular area.
Many customer inquiries involve routine questions and requests. For example, customer service representatives may be asked to provide a customer with their credit card balance, or to check on the status of an order. However, other questions are more involved, and may require additional research or further explanation on the part of the customer service representative.
In handling customers’ complaints, they must attempt to resolve the problem according to guidelines established by the company. These procedures may involve asking questions to determine the validity of a complaint; offering possible solutions; or providing customers with refunds, exchanges, or other offers, like discounts or coupons. In some cases, customer service representatives are required to follow up with an individual customer until a question is answered or an issue is resolved.
Some customer service representatives help people decide what types of products or services would best suit their needs. They may even aid customers in completing purchases or transactions. Although the primary function of customer service representatives is not sales, some may spend time encouraging customers to purchase additional products or services.
Customer service representatives play a critical role in providing an interface between customers and companies. As a result, employers seek out people who are friendly and possess a professional manner. The ability to deal patiently with problems and complaints and to remain courteous when faced with difficult or angry people is very important. Also, a customer service representative needs to be able to work independently within specified time constraints. Workers should have a clear and pleasant speaking voice and be fluent in English. However, the ability to speak a foreign language is becoming increasingly necessary.
